WELSH CUP winners Newport County arrive at Nyewood Lane on Saturday on the back of three straight league defeats.

Rocks boss Michael Birmingham said: "They are a better side than recent results suggest.

"It will be a battle but if we show the same qualities we displayed against Weston, we can get the right result."

He highlighted winger Jason Bowen and striker Julian Alsop as County's main danger men.

For the Rocks, midfielder David Ray (leg) and defender Andy Pearson (mumps) are still out but David Birmingham is free of suspension.
