Popstar Lily Allen posed outside Goodwood House to launch an exciting new three-day festival which celebrates five decades of British Cool.
60s singer Sandie Shaw, pin-up model Kitten von Mew, actress and model Sara Stockbridge, lead singer from Swing Out Sister Corrine Drewery and model and presenter Lady Bronwen Astor joined Lily to launch Vintage at Goodwood.

It will celebrate music, fashion, food, transport and art in a nostalgic way. There will be zones dedicated to the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and its takes place between August 13 and 15.
The event is the brainchild of Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway and Lord March.

Mr Hemingway said local residents should act quick at snapping some tickets for the event, as he is expecting tickets to sell fast.

"Vintage at Goodwood will bring something fresh and unique to a summer festival circuit that in many ways has become stale, homogenised and one dimensional," said Mr Hemingway.

"In the last two decades of attending a myriad of festivals, I have been consistently underwhelmed by the lack of glamour, by the locations, by the scattergun approach to booking and scheduling and overall by the lack of attention to details, which has sadly not only become the standard, but accepted as such."

There are many special events taking place at Vintage. Lily Allen is launching her new fashion label Lucy in Disguise and Sandie Shaw will be performing for the first time in more than 20 years. Acts also playing at the festival include The Buzzcocks, The Noisettes and Imelda May.

There will also be three daily runway shows featuring vintage designers to future trends and a unique custom-built 'high street' which will include outlets such as John Lewis and Oxfam.

The Vintage experience is brought to life through partnerships with The Design Museum, British Film Institute and British Music Experience.

Lily said: "To me the idea of music and fashion being separate is just not possible - one can't survive without the other. That is why I am so excited to have my Vintage clothing brand, Lucy in Disguise, which I've set up with my sister Sarah Owen."

Tickets for Vintage of Goodwood are on sale from today (Thursday, February 25).

An adult weekend camping ticket and general admissions costs £150. Without camping an adult weekend ticket costs £135. A general admission ticket for one day costs £55.
