Duncan Barratt took the lead against Southampton Travellers as the others in Bosham's in-form top four suffered rare failures.
Barratt hit a crucial 55 as Allen (11), Outram (14) and Goodman (11) gave away their wickets.
The four have scored 1,221 of the 1,517 runs Bosham have totalled.
Bosham were invited to bat on an Oaklands Park wicket looking very green.
The
Travellers' bowlers were delighted to make three early breakthroughs.
But Will Gammon, in his first appearance for Bosham, never looked troubled as he built a solid innings.
Gammon lost the services of Barratt when he was trapped lbw by Lock, but batted well with Hembrow and Dood to progress the score towards 200 and maximum batting points.
Gammon was out for 63 on 181 but Lock left the Bosham tail devastated and the innings closed on 186.
The last time Bosham had posted a sub-200 target at Oaklands they were beaten by Ryde so a good start was vital.
George Barratt and Martin Farrell made sure they did, making quick inroads in to the Southampton top order.
Farrell clean-bowled the top three and Barratt had Chapman caught by Hugh Dodd immediately after Dodd had dropped another chance which he had juggled six times.
Barnett bounced back from his drubbing at Burridge to resume normal service as he collected another three wickets.
However, it was the introduction of Gammon into the attack that
finished off Southampton's resistance – he took three wickets in three overs to clear up the tail and assure Bosham of their ninth win of the campaign.
Bosham close the gap on Portsmouth & Southsea at the top.
