Elderly woman's house floods in Chichester after leak in attic

FIREFIGHTERS rushed to help an elderly householder after water began gushing from a water tank in her attic.

The woman of Oving Road, Chichester, discovered the leak which resulted in water spreading to the whole house, just before 8pm on Wednesday (July 16).

When they arrived the firefighters from Chichester isolated the gas, water and electricity before carrying out a salvage operation.
